What will the temporary Finance Assistant role involve?
Supporting daily financial processes, including bank reconciliations and invoice processing, ensuring smooth transaction management
Assisting with supplier payments, petty cash, and maintaining accurate financial records using QuickBooks and NHS systems
Contributing to Pension administration, including data entry and reconciliation activities, to support pension scheme integrity
Responding to finance-related queries from staff and external bodies, providing clear and professional assistance
Supporting month-end procedures and financial reporting tasks, ensuring compliance with data governance standards
Suitable Candidate for the temporary Finance Assistant vacancy:
Experienced in supporting financial operations within a healthcare or public sector environment, with familiarity of NHS or similar systems
Organised, attentive to detail, and capable of handling confidential information with professionalism
Strong IT skills, particularly with QuickBooks, Excel, and other accounting software; proactive in supporting financial processes
Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and respond to varied queries
Adaptable and willing to take responsibility for individual tasks while supporting wider team functions
