Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative
Location: Sittingbourne
Salary: £28,500 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Overtime: Available at enhanced rates
Adecco is recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy and growing warehouse operation in Sittingbourne.
This is a varied role offering a mix of forklift work and warehouse duties. Approximately 20-25% of your time will be spent operating a forklift truck, with the remainder focused on supporting the day-to-day warehouse operation.
Key Responsibilities
Unload 2-3 deliveries per day
Check delivery manifests against goods received
Move stock safely into designated warehouse locations
Unbox products and transfer them to storage areas
Use Powered Pallet Trucks (PPTs) to move stock throughout the warehouse
Maintain accurate stock handling procedures
Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
Support the wider warehouse team with general duties as requiredWhat We're Looking For
Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
Previous forklift and warehouse experience
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
