About the Role
Pentagon Technical Services is currently recruiting 2 General Operatives to support a major data centre construction project in Lisbon, Portugal.
This is a 14-week contract. You will work alongside experienced construction teams, assisting with general site duties to help ensure the safe and efficient delivery of the project.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out general labouring duties across the construction site.

Assist skilled trades, supervisors, and site management with daily activities.

Load, unload, move, and distribute materials, tools, and equipment.

Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and keep work areas clean and organised.

Support with waste management and site cleanliness.

Assist with deliveries and material handling.
-
Follow instructions from supervisors and complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Work safely at all times, following Health & Safety procedures and site regulations.

Wear and maintain the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Carry out any other general site duties as required.
Requirements
-
Previous experience as a General Operative, Labourer, or Construction Operative is preferred.

Experience working on construction, industrial, or commercial projects is advantageous.

Good physical fitness and ability to carry out manual handling tasks.

Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Good awareness of Health & Safety practices on construction sites.
Desirable
-
Previous experience working on data centre or mission-critical projects.

Valid Health & Safety certification.

Basic English communication skills.
