The Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents in nursing and residential homes, helping them to maintain their dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
Your duties may include:

Providing personal care and support

Assisting with washing, dressing and toileting

Supporting residents with eating and drinking

Assisting with moving and handling, following care plans

Promoting independence and encouraging participation in daily activities

Monitoring and reporting changes in residents' wellbeing

Maintaining accurate records where required

Working closely with nurses and care home staff

Ensuring residents are treated with dignity, respect and compassion at all times
What We're Looking For
-
A minimum of 6 months' paid experience as a Healthcare Assistant in the UK

A caring, compassionate and professional attitude

Excellent communication skills

Reliability and punctuality

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts

The right to work in the UK
-
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable (or willingness to obtain one)
