A highly regarded law firm based in St Albans is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join its friendly Private Wealth team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who is keen to build a long-term career within professional services.
You'll be working closely with fee earners and support staff, providing vital administrative assistance to ensure the smooth running of a busy department. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to further develop their skills within a respected organisation.
What’s in it for you;
· Salary: Up to £28k depending on experience
· Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm, office based

Key Responsibilities:
· Opening new client files and supporting client onboarding processes
· Processing Anti-Money Laundering documentation
· Managing electronic and physical filing systems
· Archiving and retrieving client files
· Handling incoming and outgoing post
· Scanning, photocopying and document management
· Typing and amending documents
· Diary management and appointment coordination
· Communicating with clients and third parties via telephone and email
· Updating internal case management systems
· Providing additional administrative support across the team when required
What the employer is looking for:
· Previous administration experience, ideally within a professional services environment
· Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
· A professional and confident communication style
· The ability to manage priorities and work to deadlines
· A positive, proactive and flexible approach to work
· A team player who enjoys supporting others and learning new skills
