A well-established architectural practice is seeking a Part II Architectural Assistant to join their Glasgow team. The practice has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential projects, working from concept through to completion with a focus on thoughtful, design-led solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Part II Architectural Assistant to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment, gaining exposure across a variety of residential schemes and all RIBA stages.
Key Responsibilities for this Part II Architectural Assistant role:
• Support the design and delivery of residential projects across a range of RIBA stages
• Produce design proposals, planning drawings, presentation material, and technical drawings
• Assist with the preparation of planning and building warrant applications
• Work closely with architects and consultants to develop coordinated design solutions
• Attend project, client, and site meetings as required
• Assist with the production of project documentation and technical information
• Support the resolution of design and technical queries throughout project delivery
Requirements for this Part II Architectural Assistant role:
• RIBA Part II qualified
• A passion for residential architecture and high-quality design
• ArchiCAD experience desired
• Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning processes
• Strong design, presentation, and technical drawing skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to continue progressing towards qualification
