Paving Operatives & Ganger/Supervisor
Location: Temple Way, Bristol
Rate: £21.00 - £24.00 per hour (CIS)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced paving gang of three, consisting of:

2 x Paving Operatives
-
1 x Ganger/Supervisor
The project involves laying 400x400mm concrete slabs on a sand bed across an initial area of approximately 200m², with the opportunity for further work based on productivity and performance.
Duties:
-
Laying 400x400mm concrete paving slabs to a high standard
-
Preparing the work area, including Type 1 reinstatement
-
Working accurately to levels and site specifications
-
Supervising and coordinating the team (Ganger/Supervisor)
-
Maintaining high standards of health and safety
Requirements:
-
Previous experience laying concrete paving slabs
-
Ability to prepare and reinstate Type 1 sub-base
-
Experience working to levels
-
CSCS card required
-
SSSTS/SMSTS preferred for the Ganger/Supervisor
-
Reliable, hardworking and able to work efficiently as part of a team
Productivity will be monitored, with a target of up to 50m² per day (excluding cuts). There is potential for ongoing work for the right team.
