The Role
As a Customer Support Agent, you will act as a key point of contact for customers, providing support via telephone and email. You will be responsible for resolving enquiries, managing complaints professionally, and ensuring a high standard of customer service throughout every interaction.
The role also involves supporting customers with technical service-related enquiries, including account administration and porting requests, making it ideal for someone who enjoys combining customer service with problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email in a professional and timely manner
Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and processes
Investigate and resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively
Handle customer complaints with empathy and professionalism, working towards first-contact resolution where possible
Support customers with service administration and porting-related enquiries
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and outcomes within a CRM system
Follow up on outstanding issues to ensure customer satisfaction
Liaise with internal teams to resolve technical or service-related queries
Keep up to date with product knowledge, procedures, and industry developments
Participate in ongoing training and team meetings
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
Previous customer service or customer support experience
An excellent telephone manner and strong communication skills
The ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
A positive, outgoing, and customer-focused approach
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Good IT skills and experience using CRM systems
A reliable and hardworking attitude with a desire to learn and develop
