ROLE: Production Operative
LOCATION: Wellingbrorough
HOURS OF WORK: - 14:00pm - 22:30pm
BASIC SALARY: £13.91 per hour

Company Profile
Our client is seeking a Production Operative to join their organisation based in Wellingborough on a temporary to permanent basis. The role involves processing, handling, and preparing glass products to meet production schedules and customer requirements while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. You'll be working for a well-established manufacturing business supplying high-quality glazing products to the trade and commercial sectors.
In this Production Operative role:
Assist in the processing and manufacture of sealed glass units and glazing products.
Handle glass safely throughout various stages of the production process.
Operate production machinery and equipment in line with training and company procedures.
Inspect glass products for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
Read and follow production schedules, specifications, and work instructions.
Carry out general housekeeping and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Work efficiently to achieve daily production targets.To be successful as a Production Operative:
Be physically fit and comfortable handling glass products safely.
Have excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Demonstrate reliability and outstanding attendance.
Be able to follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Previous experience within glass manufacturing, glazing, production, or assembly would be advantageous but is not essential as full training may be provided.
