Receptionist – 12-Week Temp to Perm Opportunity
Location: Huntingdon
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent (12 weeks)
The Role
Interaction Recruitment are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our client's team in Huntingdon. This is an excellent 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity, offering the chance to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.
As the first point of contact for employees, customers, contractors, and visitors, you'll provide a welcoming front-of-house service while supporting the HR team with a range of administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome employees, visitors, customers, and contractors in a professional and friendly manner.
Manage incoming telephone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments.
Handle incoming and outgoing post.
Respond to general enquiries or direct them to the relevant person.
Provide general administrative support, including electronic filing and document management.
Monitor the HR inbox, responding to or forwarding emails as appropriate.
Record employee absences on the HR system.
Produce weekly HR reports to support the People & Culture team.
Coordinate Occupational Health administration, ensuring employees attend scheduled health surveillance appointments.
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, approachable, and enjoys providing excellent customer service.
You'll ideally have:
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Previous reception or front-of-house experience is desirable but not essential.
