Location: Kegworth, DE74
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: 3 on / 3 off rotating days and nights (6:00am – 6:00pm / 6:00pm – 6:00am)
Pay Rate: £14.61 per hour
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading drinks manufacturing and contract packing business for a Production Team Operative to join their growing operation in Kegworth.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment where you'll play a key part in ensuring products are packed, processed, and dispatched to the highest standards of quality and safety. The successful candidate will have previous manufacturing experience and confidence working with automated packing equipment.
Key Responsibilities

Operate production and packing machinery safely and efficiently.

Set up, monitor, and assist with the running of packing lines.

Work with equipment such as wrappers, overwrappers, palletisers, and other end-of-line machinery.

Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet customer and company specifications.

Follow production schedules and contribute towards achieving daily output targets.

Identify and report machinery faults, quality issues, or safety concerns.

Maintain high housekeeping standards and a clean working environment.

Adhere to all health, safety, food safety, and quality procedures.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the smooth running of the production operation.
What We're Looking For

Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment

Experience operating packing machinery, including wrappers, overwrappers, palletisers, or similar automated equipment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

Good mechanical aptitude and confidence working around machinery.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious approach to work.

Flexible attitude towards shift work and changing production demands.
