We are currently recruiting for a number or Recycling Operatives to join our clients growing team. This role will involve sorting and processing recyclable materials in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort recyclable materials including paper, plastic, metal, and cardboard.
- Operate recycling machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure materials are correctly separated.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and site regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials where required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a recycling, warehouse, production, or waste management environment is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
