Temporary to Permanent Administration & Inventory Controller
Guisborough – North Yorkshire
£27,000 – 40 hours per week, office-based.

Our client is looking for an organised and detailed-orientated office administrator and
inventory controller to support the smooth day-to-day running of their Guisborough
office and inventory operations.
Office Administration Duties:

Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence

Maintain accurate filing systems, records, and company documentation

Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and business correspondence.

Schedule meetings, appointments, and coordinate office activities.

Order office supplies and monitor office resource requirements.

Support management with general administrative tasks and projects.

Assist with data entry and maintaining company databases.
Inventory Control Duties:

Monitor stock levels and ensure inventory records are accurate.

Receive, check, and record incoming deliveries in Inflow system.

Ensure all goods received at Guisborough are checked and booked into Inflow promptly.

Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits.

Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.

Process and record all stock movements, transfers, and adjustments within Inflow, ensuring inventory records remain accurate across both Guisborough and Rugby locations.)

Coordinate with suppliers regarding deliveries, shortages, and returns.

Process supplier returns and maintain associated documentation and records.

Generate inventory and stock performance reports.

Maintain organised storage areas and ensure stock is correctly labelled.

Support purchasing activities by identifying replenishment requirements.
Calibration and Equipment Control:

Maintain calibration equipment records and ensure calibration updates are completed.

Coordinate calibration activities and maintain records of calibration due dates, certificates and equipment status.
Skills:
Previous experience in office administration, inventory control, or a similar role.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
