Customer Support Officer
Location: Warrington
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday (9:00-17:00)
Pay Rate: £14.65 - £17.03 per hour- dependant on experience
Contract: Temporary (minimum 3 months, with potential to extend)
Overview
We are seeking a friendly and adaptable Customer Support Officer to provide comprehensive support within a busy programme environment. This is a varied and engaging role, ideal for someone comfortable managing a wide range of queries and working with different stakeholder groups.
This position is initially to provide holiday cover, however, there is potential for extension as the organisation progresses through a new strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for a variety of enquiries
Handle queries from parents, participants, schools, and local authorities
Provide guidance and practical advice
Direct enquiries efficiently to the appropriate teams where needed
Support with expedition-related queries and general programme information
Manage and maintain accurate records, including handling sensitive data
Take calls and respond to enquiries in a professional and timely manner
Assist with general administrative and customer support tasks
Person Specification
Essential:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Friendly, approachable, and confident manner
Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
Ability to manage a high volume of varied enquiries
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriatelyDesirable:
Experience in a customer support or customer service role
Exposure to education, youth programmes, or outdoor-based environments
