What You Will be Doing
As a Payroll Apprentice, you will learn how to:

Use professional payroll software to process weekly, monthly, and quarterly payrolls

Manage the starters and leavers process for clients

Process statutory payments such as SMP, SPP, and SSP
-
Handle payroll year-end tasks including P60s
-
Administer auto-enrolment and workplace pensions
-
Support clients with a high standard service and clear communication
-
Carry out day-to-day admin and HMRC-related paperwork

Learn how payroll integrates with real business operations
You’ll spend part of your week studying, and the rest gaining practical experience with our expert team.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
Qualifications/Skills

6 GCSEs at grade 5 or above (including Maths & English)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent customer service mindset

Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Office

Well-organised, self-motivated, and detail-focused

A full UK driving licence
