About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised, and dedicated Assistant SENCO to join our inclusive and supportive school community. Working closely with the SENCO and Senior Leadership Team, you will play a key role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEND professional who is passionate about inclusive education and making a positive difference in the lives of young people. The role typically involves supporting the SENCO with SEND provision, coordinating interventions, maintaining records, liaising with families and external agencies, and helping to ensure that pupils receive the support they need to succeed

Person specifications
Essential
- Educated to at least GCSE standard including Maths and English Grade C/5 or above
- Pro-active and confident
- Experience of working in an educational setting
- Previous experience of working with children and young people.
Desirable
- Relevant Level 3 Qualifications / Teacher Training
- An understanding of the teaching and learning process
- Experience of supervising groups of children or young people
