Vacancy Brief:

Our client is seeking a Service Administrator on a Temp basis.

This is a part-time vacancy, 30 hours per week
-
Working pattern between Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, with an occasional late from 1 – 9pm.

Candidates pay rate is £13.01 PAYE or £16.75 Umbrella

The role is location based, in Birmingham

The role is subject to an Enhanced DBS as candidate will be handling sensitive data and may encounter vulnerable clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Answer telephone enquiries, respond to requests, and take messages.

Act as a key point of contact for the service, helping to increase referrals by liaising with internal departments and external partner organisations, promoting awareness of the service and the support it provides.

Assist with “Youth Line” enquiries, providing initial information and signposting to relevant departments.

Support the preparation of grant and bid applications, including presentations and submissions.

Compile and produce statistical data and reports for internal and external use.

Utilise various software packages (including Microsoft Office) to create high-quality reports.

Prepare and distribute standard reports for committee meetings.

Administer meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and document management.

Organise events such as briefings, including venue arrangements, invitations, and catering.

Provide secretarial support to the Service Manager and Team Leader, including diary management.

Maintain appropriate stock levels for stationery and office equipment.

Set up and maintain filing and archiving systems to keep documentation up to date.
What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in an administrative role.

Strong organisational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.

Experience in compiling reports and handling data.

A proactive and adaptable approach to work.
