About the Role
We are seeking an organised and proactive Branch Administrator to support our busy Refurbishment & Preparation Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with a motor trade background who thrives in a fast-paced workshop environment and enjoys coordinating multiple tasks.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth administration of workshop operations, supporting engineers, controlling costs, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
Create and process all Work in Progress (WIP) job cards in a timely manner, including all required Health & Safety documentation.
Accurately enter timesheet data onto internal systems.
Monitor and control costs by checking timesheets, job sheets, and parts invoices.
Invoice completed WIPs promptly, ensuring departmental performance targets are achieved.
Manage the workshop diary and coordinate engineer job allocations.
Liaise with Sales and Service Departments regarding refurbishment and short-term rental (STR) workshop activities.
Raise purchase orders and process goods received as required.
Ensure all relevant depot equipment has current LOLER inspections and documentation.
Provide general administrative support and undertake other related duties as required.About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous administration experience within the motor trade, automotive, plant, commercial vehicle, or workshop environment.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience processing invoices, job cards, and workshop documentation.
Confident IT skills and experience using internal management systems.
The ability to communicate effectively with engineers, service teams, and management.
A proactive approach and the ability to prioritise workloads in a busy environment.What's on Offer?
Competitive salary of £26,000 – £30,000.
25 days holiday, rising to 28 days after 5 years' service.
