Temporary Receptionist
We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Temporary Receptionist to provide cover for our client.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am – 4:15pmBased:
Glasgow - G22 - Fully office based
Duration: ASAP - 8 weeks - possible extension Pay Rate:
£13.80 per hourKey Responsibilities:
Welcoming and assisting visitors to the office
Answering and directing telephone calls
Managing incoming and outgoing mail
General administrative duties
Filing and photocopying
Maintaining a tidy and professional reception area
Providing support with ad hoc office tasks as required
Skills & Experience Required
Previous reception, customer service, or administrative experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional and friendly manner with visitors and colleagues
Strong organisational and time management skills
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Competent in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing workloads
Comfortable managing both quiet periods and busier office environments
About the Role
This is a varied position where no two days are the same. Some days can be very quiet, while others can be much busier, so the successful candidate should be comfortable working independently during quieter periods and able to manage multiple tasks when required.
