Customer Service Advisor – Temporary Maternity Cover
Seymour John is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business based in Telford for a Customer Service Advisor to join their team on a temporary maternity cover contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual who enjoys delivering outstanding service and building positive relationships with customers. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you will play a key role in ensuring customers receive a professional and efficient experience at every stage of their journey.
The Role
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, processing orders, resolving issues, and providing a high level of support across multiple communication channels.
Key Responsibilities

Managing inbound customer enquiries via telephone, email and online channels

Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently

Resolving customer queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner

Providing product and service information to customers

Maintaining accurate customer records and updating internal systems

Liaising with internal departments to ensure excellent customer outcomes

Supporting the wider team with administrative and customer service tasks
About You

Previous experience within a customer service or customer support role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities

A positive, proactive, and customer-focused approach

Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
