An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance function based in Stowmarket. This role focuses on the day-to-day management of accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong financial control.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Matching, batching, and coding invoices
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
Preparing and processing payment runs
Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong relationships
Assisting with month-end processes including accruals and reporting
About You:
Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role
Currently studying towards AAT
Eager to develop and progress within a finance career
