We Are Footprint Group is a specialist construction recruitment and social value business supporting contractors and construction professionals across the UK.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a Payroll Administrator / Payroll Assistant to join our team and work closely with our Payroll & Credit Control Manager, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll for a large contractor workforce.
The Role
You'll play a key part in supporting the weekly payroll process, ensuring contractors are paid accurately and on time while maintaining high levels of compliance and attention to detail.
Key responsibilities will include:

Processing weekly payroll for temporary workers and contractors

Checking and validating timesheets

Supporting invoice generation and payroll reporting

Working closely with recruitment teams

Maintaining accurate payroll records and databases

Supporting credit control and finance administration when required

Ensuring payroll deadlines are consistently met
What We're Looking For
-
Previous payroll, finance administration or accounts experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent organisational skills

Comfortable working to weekly deadlines

Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills

Confident communicator with a professional manner

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

Experience within recruitment payroll would be advantageous but not essential
