Warehouse Operative (Assembly) - Temporary Contract starts from the end of June 2026
We are currently seeking Warehouse Operatives to join our team of agency workers assembling wheel-based metal cages at our busy warehouse facility for our client based in Widnes, WA8 0PB
Role Overview
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for the assembly of metal cages using basic tools, ensuring all products are built to the required standard and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembling wheel-based metal cages
- Using basic hand tools safely and effectively
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
- Meeting daily productivity targets
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00 - 16:00
- Unpaid 30 min break a day
Pay Rate
Contract Details
- 4-month temporary contract
- Opportunity to transition into the main operation (tray wash/recycle) upon completion
- Progression and extension of the assignment to a 4 on / 4 off rotational shift pattern (subject to performance and availability) at the end of the 4 months contract
Requirements
- No previous experience required - full training provided
- Good level of manual dexterity
- Ability to use basic tools
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated
- Physically capable of manual work
