Purpose of the job
I am an intelligent and articulate woman based in Camden looking for a female PA to support me for 4 hours per week. I am looking to employ a reliable Personal Assistant who can provide both practical assistance with administrative tasks and emotional support to help manage my mental health.
It is of importance to me that I can build a trusting relationship with my PA where I feel comfortable and safe. I can communicate and understand information most of the time. At times I become overwhelmed by my emotions which impact on my ability to communicate with others, make sense of what is communicated to me and impacts on my decision-making abilities. I require consistency and continuity with professionals involved in my care to build meaningful relationships.

Main Duties
• Executive Assistant-style support with administrative tasks, including writing emails; liaising with services such as Housing Repairs, DWP, Health; form-filling; managing letters; scheduling appointments and overseeing referrals; planning for trips and travel.
• Support with decision-making. Talking through options; weighing up pros and cons to me; planning ahead; and helping me organise my thoughts.
• Emotional support, including managing anxiety and overwhelm; debriefing after events; reflecting on my own support needs; support implementing coping strategies and safety plans.
• Emotional and practical support with tidying and decluttering. Helping make decisions around organising the home environment. Prompting and encouragement to motivate tidying activities. Practical support to sort belongings to keep/sell/donate including listing items for sale on Ebay and bagging up items to donate.
