Responsibilities

Operate forklift trucks and other warehouse management system (WMS) equipment to load and unload goods

Handle materials with care, ensuring safe and accurate transportation within the warehouse

Assist in shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
-
Conduct mechanical checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
-
Perform heavy lifting tasks safely, adhering to health and safety regulations
-
Organise materials for storage or dispatch, maintaining accurate records of inventory movements
-
Support construction or maintenance activities as required within the warehouse premises
-
Ensure work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards
Skills
-
Proven experience operating forklifts and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
-
Strong understanding of materials handling procedures and safety protocols
-
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance checks on equipment
-
Knowledge of shipping & receiving processes, including load & unload operations
-
Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks and long periods of standing or moving around the warehouse
-
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and inventory management
-
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
