A typical day as a Depot Assistant/Administrator:
-
Administration duties such as order processing, checking order financials and documentation.
-
Stock management – checking stock availability, order and replenish where required.
-
Ensuring supplies are distributed within a timely manner and in line with regulatory standards such as Basis (chemical storage and distribution) and HSE.

Effectively deal with ‘Trade Counter’ enquiries and cash associated with.
-
Review, monitor and maintain accurate reporting records in relation to monies and stock.
-
Ensure security of company cash, stock and property.
-
Liaise with internal stakeholders such as the depot and sales team, ensuring effective communication.

Maintain relationships with Third Party Logistics suppliers, supporting from an administration perspective also.

On occasions loading and unloading of stock, manually and via a Fork Lift Truck.
