We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the flow of goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining accurate records. This role is vital to optimise supply chain operations and support overall business efficiency.
Duties

Organise and oversee the scheduling of deliveries to meet operational requirements

Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments to coordinate logistics activities

Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and delivery schedules using appropriate software systems

Monitor transportation costs and optimise routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Prepare documentation such as shipping labels, customs paperwork, and delivery notes

Resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies in shipments promptly and professionally

Assist in stock control processes, including inventory audits and stock replenishment planning

Support the implementation of health and safety policies within the logistics department
Qualifications

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other business software systems

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in record keeping

Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations within logistics operations is advantageous
