Yard & Warehouse Operative (Forklift Licence Required)
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard & Warehouse Operative This hands-on role involves managing stock, loading and unloading deliveries, maintaining an organised yard and warehouse environment, and operating a forklift safely and efficiently.
The successful candidate will hold a valid forklift licence and have experience working in a warehouse, yard, or similar operational environment.
Key Responsibilities

Loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift truck

Receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock

Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard and warehouse

Carrying out stock checks and inventory control

Assisting customers and suppliers when required

Following all health and safety procedures

Supporting the wider operations team with general warehouse and yard duties
Requirements

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)

Previous warehouse and/or yard experience

Good understanding of health and safety practices

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Good level of physical fitness

Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude
