Bell Cornwall Recruitment are delighted to be working with a rapidly growing healthcare company who have recently opened a new operation in the Birmingham city centre region. They are looking for an Executive Assistant to provide high-level executive support to their CEO whilst ensuring the smooth, efficient, and professional running of the office. The Executive Assistant will act as a central coordination point for diary and travel management, project administration, and operational office tasks.
The duties and responsibilities of the Executive Assistant will include (but are not limited to):
Provide proactive administrative and organisational support to the CEO, including diary management, inbox oversight, preparing documents, and handling confidential correspondence.
Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the CEO, ensuring professional and timely communication.
Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the office, including managing supplies, facilities matters, contractor visits, and general office upkeep.
Coordinate and support projects by managing timelines, maintaining documentation, communicating with stakeholders, and tracking actions through to completion.
Arrange travel, accommodation, transport, meeting rooms, and other logistics for the CEO and wider team, ensuring accuracy and cost‑effectiveness.
Manage company vehicle administration, including logbook compliance, arranging valets, scheduling services, and liaising with suppliers or leasing companies.
Organise meetings by preparing agendas, booking rooms, briefing participants, and ensuring all required materials are available.
The ideal candidate will have:
+2 years of experience directly supporting a C-suite level individual in a PA/EA capacity.
Evidence of managing complex diaries and significant travel arrangements.
Experience of office management/overseeing operations in a busy environment.
Experience within the private healthcare industry is desirable and may be prioritised.
Hyper-organised and strong IT skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data.
Ability to be in the Birmingham city centre office Monday to Friday.
