Assembly Operative – Manufacturing
Location: Milton Keynes
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm/5:00pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a busy manufacturing company in Milton Keynes. The company specialises in the production of high-quality protective barriers and safety products for a range of industries.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and would suit candidates who are physically fit, reliable, and experienced in using hand tools.
Key Responsibilities

Assembling protective barriers and related products according to specifications.

Using hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, and other assembly equipment.

Reading and following basic assembly instructions and drawings.

Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.

Handling and moving materials safely around the production area.

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

Following all health and safety procedures.
Candidate Requirements

Previous experience in an assembly, manufacturing, or production environment.

Confident using hand tools, including drills and similar equipment.

Good practical skills and attention to detail.

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and repetitive tasks.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
