This is a permanent Assistant Buyer opportunity based at the Head Office in Theale, with hybrid working available.

Company pensionAs the Assistant Buyer, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the purchasing inbox, responding to service requests, queries, invoices, and procurement tasks
- Buying and performance managing service contracts
- Maintaining accurate service contract records and supporting procurement processes
- Obtaining supplier quotes and liaising with suppliers to support buying activity
- Supporting supplier relationships and helping to deliver measurable KPIs
- Assisting with project coordination, data management, and reporting
- Problem-solving and managing stakeholder expectations
The successful Assistant Buyer will have the following related skills / experience:
- Previous experience working within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Experience working with databases and data management
- Procurement or buying experience would be advantageous but is not essential
