Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off - rotating shifts
Breaks: 4 x 30-minute breaks per 12-hour shift
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for Bakery Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced production environment within the Morning Goods and Slicing departments at the Northwich site.
Previous bakery production experience is desirable; however, candidates with experience within FMCG or fast-moving manufacturing environments will also be considered. Full training will be provided.
This role involves manual handling, operating within a production environment, and working as part of a team to meet production and quality targets.
Key Responsibilities

Follow daily production plans and work instructions

Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Ensure production deadlines and targets are achieved

Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping (“clean as you go”)

Complete production paperwork accurately and report any issues or non-conformances

Maintain food safety, quality, and legal compliance standards

Adhere to all SOPs, procedures, risk assessments, and safe systems of work

Work safely and responsibly at all times

Maintain awareness of staff and machinery within the working area

Follow manual handling procedures correctly
What We’re Looking For

Previous experience within an FMCG or production/manufacturing environment

Good communication skills, both verbal and written
