An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Trainee or Assistant Estimator to join a well-established specialist contractor delivering high-quality projects across various sectors in the UK and Europe.

The Role
Working alongside an experienced commercial and pre-construction team, you will assist in the preparation of competitive tenders and cost estimates across a variety of construction projects.
Key responsibilities will include:

Assisting with preparation of tenders, estimates and pricing submissions

Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documentation

Performing quantity take-offs and measuring works

Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations

Supporting bid submissions and commercial documentation

Liaising with operational and project delivery teams

Maintaining accurate cost records and estimating databases
About You

Previous experience within estimating, quantity surveying or construction commercial support

Background within construction, fit-out, refurbishment or interiors advantageous

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications

Proficient with Microsoft Office packages

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Motivated to develop a long-term career within pre-construction/commercial management
