About the Paralegal Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and highly organised Paralegal to join a dynamic EMEA Legal team within the IT distribution sector. This role offers the chance to develop your legal career within a supportive and fast-paced commercial environment.
Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, the successful candidate will support company secretarial activities, commercial contract management, compliance administration, and wider legal operations across the UK and EMEA regions.
This position would suit a commercially focused Paralegal with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience working within an in-house legal team or large commercial law firm.
Key Responsibilities for the Paralegal Role
Provide support on commercial contract negotiations, assist with legal research, contract analysis, and contract summaries, and respond to routine legal enquiries relating to contracts and company information. Escalate complex legal matters where appropriate and review and process standard commercial agreements including NDAs, contract amendments and addendums, and supply of goods and services agreements. Support compliance with contract approval and signature procedures and assist with company secretarial administration including company books and records, annual returns, KYC and UBO documentation, and registered office updates. Draft legal and corporate documents including Companies House forms and filings, director and company secretary appointment and resignation letters, board minutes, and corporate correspondence. Proofread and amend legal and corporate documentation while supporting ongoing sales contract administration.
About You
Essential Skills & Experience for the Paralegal role
LLB qualification with completion of or current study towards the SQE (Solicitors Qualifying Examination). Minimum 2 years’ Paralegal experience within an in-house legal team or a commercial private practice environment. Strong commercial awareness with excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational and time-management abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. High level of accuracy and attention to detail with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
