The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Associate to join a highly regarded and growing accountancy practice in Edinburgh.
This role would suit an ambitious individual currently studying ACCA (or equivalent) who is looking to continue developing their career within a collaborative and supportive professional environment.
As part of a friendly and forward-thinking team, you will support a varied client portfolio across accounts preparation, bookkeeping and cloud-based accounting services. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure within a modern practice environment that embraces digital accounting solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Preparation of annual statutory accounts

Production of management accounts

Preparation and submission of VAT returns

Bookkeeping and financial processing duties

Working with cloud accounting software including Xero
-
Supporting a varied portfolio of SME clients

Building strong working relationships internally and externally

Working collaboratively within a supportive team environment
About You
-
Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment

Currently studying ACCA or equivalent

Experience using Xero and cloud-based accounting software

Strong communication and organisational skills

Positive and collaborative approach

Keen to continue learning and developing professionally
