Assist in the observation, care, and welfare of patients

Help patients with their personal hygiene needs, including bathing, dressing, and using the toilet

Assist with mobility, including lifting and transferring patients with physical disabilities

Monitor and record patients’ conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, and weight.

Support in carrying out health care procedures, such as wound dressings and sample collection

Prepare and serve meals, assist with feeding patients if required

Communicate with patients and their families, answering questions and providing information
