Warehouse Administrator
📍 Location: Barrow-In-Furness
🕒 Hours: Full-Time | Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
📦 Department: Warehousing & Distribution
📣 Reporting to: Warehouse & Distribution Manager
About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and detail-driven Warehouse Administrator to join our fast-paced Warehousing & Distribution team.
This is a varied and hands-on role where you'll be at the heart of day-to-day operations - ensuring all warehouse documentation, transport bookings, and customer communications are handled accurately and efficiently. You'll play a vital role in keeping everything running smoothly while also supporting practical warehouse activities when required.

Key Responsibilities
Co-ordinate transport and delivery bookings efficiently
Prepare and issue transport documentation, including customs paperwork
Maintain accurate records and produce reports to support operations
Ensure all administrative tasks are completed on time and correctly filed
Keep work instructions accurate and up to date
Identify and report non-conformances, supporting corrective actions
Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and suppliers
Provide support via phone and email with a professional approach
Assist with warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, and rework when needed
Provide administrative support to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager
Contribute ideas for continuous improvement
Maintain high standards of housekeeping
Uphold company values, policies, and procedures
