Rate: £350 per day
Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced M&E Operative - Lift Supervisor to support a project in Melksham. This role requires a qualified and competent Lift Supervisor with proven site experience, ensuring all lifting operations are planned, supervised, and executed safely and in line with regulations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining safe lifting practices across site operations, supporting mechanical and electrical works, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate lifting operations on site
Ensure all lifts are carried out safely and in accordance with lift plans and site procedures
Support M&E activities as required
Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with lifting regulations
Liaise with site teams to ensure smooth and safe operations
Maintain strict adherence to health & safety standards at all times
Essential Skills & Requirements
Valid NG Person certification (essential)
Manual Handling certification (essential)
Proven experience in a Lift Supervisor role
Strong understanding of lifting operations and site safety procedures
Ability to work effectively on active construction sites
Reliable, safety-conscious, and competent under site conditions
Desirable Skills
Previous M&E site experience
