TeacherActive is proud to be working with a lovely welcoming nursery setting based in Tunbridge Wells, who are looking to appoint a Nursery Assistant. This warm and nurturing environment encourages children to learn through play, creativity and exploration, while supporting every child to build confidence and independence from an early age.
The nursery is looking to take on a dedicated Nursery Assistant for flexible part-time work, with both long-term and short-term opportunities available to suit individual availability. The successful Nursery Assistant will be supporting children across the nursery setting, helping to deliver engaging activities, supporting daily routines and ensuring children feel safe, supported and encouraged throughout the day. There are both full-day and half-day shifts available, offering excellent flexibility, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right Nursery Assistant.
The successful Nursery Assistant will have:
• Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• A good understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A caring and nurturing approach to supporting children
• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to get stuck in
• Flexibility to support across different rooms when required
