Monday-Thursday | 06:00-16:00

We're looking for a practical, hands-on Assembly Operative to join a busy manufacturing team in Bury St Edmunds. This Assembly Operative role involves building, testing, and checking precision valve components in a steady but active production environment where quality really matters. If you're the type of person who likes working with tools and seeing a job through properly, this Assembly Operative position will suit you well.
What you'll be doing:
Building valve assemblies using hand tools and fixtures as an Assembly Operative
Working from engineering drawings and job instructions
Carrying out pressure, leak, and function testing
Checking components and finished products for quality
Recording build and test data accurately
Keeping your workstation clean, safe, and organised
Working as part of a team to meet production targetsWhat we're looking for:
Comfortable in a hands-on Assembly Operative role
Able to follow drawings and instructions accurately
Good with hand tools and measuring equipment
Strong attention to detail
Reliable, steady, and happy in a production environment
Physically able to be active throughout the shiftWhat's on offer:
