Apprenticeship Skills Coach
Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum
Location: Remote (with occasional travel)
Contract: 12‑month contract (with potential extension)
Working pattern: Full‑time or 4 days per week considered
Start date: Immediate
We’re working with a dynamic and learner‑focused training provider who are looking to appoint an experienced Apprenticeship Skills Coach to support learners across a range of apprenticeship programmes, including Level 5 Operations Manager, Team Leader, Customer Service, and Business standards.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys coaching and developing learners, and who is passionate about supporting individuals to progress into confident, capable leaders.
The role
You’ll work closely with apprentices to support their development throughout their programme, providing high‑quality coaching, guidance, and structured feedback. You’ll play a key role in helping learners build the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for success, while preparing them for End‑Point Assessment (EPA).
Key responsibilities include:
Coaching and supporting apprentices on the Level 5 Operations Manager standard, alongside Team Leader and Customer Service programmes
Developing tailored learning plans and conducting regular progress reviews
Preparing learners for EPA through targeted feedback and guidance
Maintaining accurate learner records in line with ESFA and Ofsted requirements
Creating a positive, engaging, and supportive learning experience
About you
Experience coaching, training, or mentoring learners at a similar level
Strong understanding of the Level 5 Operations Manager apprenticeship standard
Relevant teaching, assessing, or coaching qualification (e.g. CAVA, TAQA, AET, Assessor Coach L4, or equivalent)
Level 5 or above qualification in Management or Senior Leadership
Vocational competence within Management
Strong communication and organisational skills
