A fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced logistics and transport operation within a growing manufacturing and distribution business.
This role sits within the Transport Planning team and would suit someone organised, proactive and comfortable working in a busy operational environment. You'll be responsible for supporting day-to-day transport coordination, liaising with customers and hauliers, and ensuring delivery schedules run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Transport Planning team with daily administration
- Building and updating loads on the internal system
- Pulling reports and identifying delivery or transport issues
- Liaising with customers, hauliers and warehouse teams
- Handling inbound and outbound calls regarding deliveries and schedules
- Investigating orders that have not been delivered or processed correctly
- Maintaining accurate transport and planning records
- Supporting the smooth running of daily logistics operations
Ideal Background:
- Previous administration or customer service experience
- Experience within logistics, transport or warehouse environments beneficial
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confident using internal systems and Microsoft Office
- Able to work well in a fast-paced operational environment
- Reliable with a proactive attitude and strong attention to detail
