About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join a busy and well-established steel manufacturing business based in Brompton-on-Swale.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of CNC machinery within the production facility, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC machinery efficiently and safely as part of a rotating production team

Complete and follow daily CNC processing checklists

Monitor machinery performance and identify maintenance requirements

Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase production efficiency

Liaise with equipment manufacturers and engineers regarding machine breakdowns and servicing

Work closely with the Works Manager, Supervisors, and wider production team

Assist with staff training where required
Machinery Experience Preferred
Experience operating any of the following machinery would be highly advantageous:

Voortman blast, saw, and drill lines

Kaltenbach Profitline fittings machinery

Peddinghaus saw/drill machinery

Desirable Experience

Previous experience within a steel fabrication or heavy engineering environment

Training or mentoring of production staff
