Quarry Operative – Loading Shovel

What we offer:

Competitive pay: £34,207 - £36,000 per annum (£657 - £692 per week based on 40 hours)

Set working hours: Monday to Friday, 7am–5pm plus every other Saturday 7am–12pm as required

Your role and responsibilities:

Operate and maintain quarry and processing plant equipment

Use mobile plant including loading shovel to feed processing plant

Perform planned maintenance and housekeeping duties

Operate the weighbridge accurately and efficiently

Consistently follow and promote the clients Health & Safety standards

Collaborate closely with your team and demonstrate a flexible attitude to tasks and hours
What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in quarry extraction and processing or a similar industry

Qualifications and training for mobile plant operation (loading shovel and LGV experience preferred)

Strong understanding of health and safety procedures in site operations

A motivated team player with excellent communication skills
