A friendly and nurturing nursery setting in HP9 is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join their Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience within childcare and early years education.
About the Role
As a Nursery Assistant, you will:

Support children’s learning and development within the nursery environment

Assist with play-based activities, story time, and creative learning sessions

Help create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children

Support children with daily routines, including mealtimes and transitions

Encourage children’s social, emotional, and communication development
-
Work closely with senior staff to support the smooth running of the nursery
Requirements

A genuine passion for working with young children
-
Previous childcare, babysitting, nursery, or school experience desirable
-
Caring, patient, and positive attitude
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Willingness to learn and develop within an Early Years setting

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Right to Work in the UK – essential
Desirable

Experience within a nursery, preschool, or EYFS environment

Driver preferred due to location/travel

Interest in pursuing a childcare qualification in the future
