A friendly and supportive nursery setting in Slough is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Level 2 Qualified Nursery Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children during their early years development.
About the Role
As a Nursery Assistant, you will:

Support children’s learning and development within the EYFS framework

Assist with play-based activities, learning sessions, and daily routines
-
Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
-
Support children’s social, emotional, and communication development
-
Assist with mealtimes, toileting, and transitions where required
-
Work closely with nursery staff and parents to support children’s progress
Essential Requirements
-
Level 2 Qualification in Childcare – essential

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – essential
-
Right to Work in the UK – essential
-
Previous experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting

Strong understanding of safeguarding and EYFS principles

Caring, patient, and proactive approach
Desirable
-
Driver preferred due to location/travel requirements

Level 3 Childcare qualification or working towards one

Experience supporting children with additional needs
