£34,000 + Discretionary Bonus

A leading global professional services firm is seeking a Payroll Executive to join its established payroll function in Reading. The organisation is part of one of the world’s largest networks of audit, tax and consulting firms, operating across 120+ countries and supporting middle-market businesses with premium advisory services.
As a Payroll Executive, you will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end payroll process across a varied client portfolio, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Process end-to-end payrolls for a portfolio of clients

Ensure payroll data is accurate, complete, and processed in line with deadlines

Handle payroll adjustments, changes, and queries efficiently

Support compliance with HMRC and UK payroll legislation requirements

Reconcile payroll outputs and resolve discrepancies

Assist in year-end processes including P60s and reporting requirements

Maintain accurate employee records and payroll data integrity

Work closely with senior team members to resolve complex payroll issues

Provide excellent client service and respond to payroll queries in a timely manner
