Nursery Support Assistant
Location: East Finchley, Barnet
A warm and inclusive Primary School in East Finchley is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and energetic Nursery Support Assistant to join their Early Years team. This role involves providing support within a Nursery class, working closely with young children to support their learning, development, and wellbeing during these crucial early years.

Role Overview
Supporting children aged 3-4 within a Nursery setting
Assisting with play-based learning, routine, and care
Full-time, long-term role
Working hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Immediate start or September start available
Key Responsibilities
Supporting children with learning through play and structured activities
Promoting positive behaviour, confidence, and independence
Assisting with personal care routines where required
Creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment
Supporting children's social and emotional development
Working closely with the class teacher and Early Years team
Supporting learning both indoors and outdoors
Requirements
Minimum 6 months' experience working with young children
Experience or strong interest in Early Years / Nursery settings
Good communication and interpersonal skills
DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Able to commit to a full-time role
