We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant to work within a busy school kitchen in Allington. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking work during school hours, with weekends and school holidays off.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with the preparation of food and meals for pupils
Serving food and supporting during busy lunch periods
Cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
Washing up and maintaining high standards of hygiene
Following food safety and health & safety guidelines
Requirements:
Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is beneficial
A valid DBS check is required (or willingness to obtain one)
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
