Outdoor Education Assistant – SEN School (South Brent)
We are currently recruiting for an Outdoor Education Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in South Brent.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about outdoor learning and supporting young people with additional needs to access education in a different, more engaging environment.
The Role:
Supporting pupils with SEN through outdoor and practical learning activities
Assisting with activities such as outdoor education, life skills, and off-site learning
Helping students build confidence, resilience, and engagement with education
Working closely with teaching staff and support teams
Creating a safe, structured, and positive learning environment outdoors
Term time only with a long-term opportunity available
Requirements:
Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable)
Confident working outdoors in all environments
Resilient, proactive, and enthusiastic approach
Ability to build strong, positive relationships with students
Must be reliable and committed to supporting vulnerable learners
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being active, working outside the classroom, and making a real difference to the lives of young people who need alternative approaches to learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
